This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel anything you buy from or agree with The Aisles Ltd. (“Cayman Ecommerce”, “we”, “us”), and what you pay or get back when you do. It applies to every purchase, contract and service agreement — whether you buy through our online checkout, pay a payment link, approve an estimate in our client portal, or sign a separate agreement with us. It forms part of our Terms of Service and works together with our Refund & Returns Policy.
1. At a glance
| What you bought | If you cancel |
|---|---|
| Project work (website and store builds, setups, integrations, custom themes and plugins) | Within 48 hours of paying your deposit and before work starts: full refund of the deposit. After that: the deposit is non-refundable, and work completed beyond the value of the deposit is payable. |
| Ongoing services (care plans, hosting, maintenance, marketing retainers, recurring card payments) | Cancel any time with 30 days’ written notice. Service and billing continue during the notice period; nothing is charged after it ends. |
| Digital products (themes, plugins, templates, downloads, licences) | Refund within 14 days of purchase only if the product does not work as described and we cannot fix it. No refunds for a change of mind once it has been downloaded or the licence key issued. |
| Fixed-price service packages bought at checkout | Treated as project work: within 48 hours and before work starts, full refund; after that, the first 50% is non-refundable and you pay for completed work. |
| Third-party costs (domains, hosting, licences, ad spend, payment fees) | Not refundable by us once purchased; we transfer them to you where we can. |
| Quotes and estimates | Free and can be declined or left to expire at no cost. |
2. What this policy covers
- Purchases made through our website checkout, including card payments, payment links and bank transfers.
- Contracts formed when you approve an estimate in our client portal or sign a quote, statement of work or proposal.
- Service agreements for ongoing or recurring services, whether billed monthly, by instalments or through an automatic card schedule.
- If a signed agreement with you sets different cancellation terms, the signed agreement applies to that work and this policy applies to everything else.
3. How to cancel
- Cancel in writing using the cancellation request form at the bottom of this page, a Billing ticket in your client portal, or by email to support@caymanecommerce.com.
- Please include your name, the order, invoice, estimate or contract number, and what you want to cancel.
- Your cancellation takes effect from the date and time we receive it (Cayman Islands time, EST). We confirm it in writing within 2 business days with a reference number and, where relevant, a breakdown of any refund or amount due.
- Recurring card payments can also be stopped from your account’s order page, where offered. The 30-day notice period still applies.
- A request by phone or chat is not a cancellation until it is confirmed in writing.
4. Project work and deposits
Project work starts with a 50% deposit, invoiced when you approve your estimate. The deposit reserves time in our schedule and covers discovery, planning and set-up.
- Within 48 hours of paying the deposit, and before work starts (no kickoff meeting held and no design, development or set-up carried out): we refund the deposit in full. If, at your request, we have already bought anything on your behalf (for example a domain or licence), that cost is deducted and the item is transferred to you.
- After 48 hours, or once work has started (whichever comes first): the deposit is non-refundable.
- Work beyond the deposit: if the value of work completed when you cancel is more than the deposit, the difference is payable. We value completed work by approved milestones or, where none apply, by time spent at the hourly rate in your estimate, and send you a breakdown.
- Work you have approved in the client portal (proofs, milestones, launch sign-off) counts as completed and accepted.
- Once all amounts due are paid, we hand over the completed work and any files and accounts that belong to you.
- Paused projects: if a project is paused at your request, or we are waiting on content, access or decisions from you, for more than 60 days without a new date being agreed, we may treat the project as cancelled under this section after giving you 7 days’ written notice.
5. Ongoing and recurring services
This covers website care and maintenance plans, hosting management, digital marketing and SEO retainers, support plans, and any service billed on a recurring card schedule, by instalments or by monthly invoice.
- You can cancel at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice. The notice period starts on the day we receive your request.
- We continue to provide the service during the notice period, and charges that fall due during it are payable. No charges are made after the notice period ends, and any automatic card schedule is cancelled at that point.
- Fees already paid for the current billing period are not refunded. If you prepaid for a longer term (for example a year), we refund any full months remaining after the notice period, less any discount you received for prepaying.
- Advertising spend, software subscriptions and other amounts paid to third parties for you are not refundable by us (see section 8).
- When the service ends, we give you any logins, files and data that belong to you. We may remove our own tools and licences from your site at that point.
6. Digital products
Digital products include themes, plugins, templates, downloadable guides and software licences sold through our website. Because they can be copied once delivered, they cannot be returned for a change of mind.
- If a product does not work as described on its product page, tell us within 14 days of purchase with details of the problem (and screenshots or error messages where possible).
- We will first try to fix it, or help you resolve a set-up issue. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time — normally 10 business days — we refund the purchase price in full.
- When we refund, the licence is deactivated and you must stop using and delete the product.
- Refunds are not available for a change of mind after download or licence activation, for problems caused by other themes, plugins or hosting not listed as compatible, for a failure to meet the stated requirements, or for products customised for you.
- Free downloads (such as our guides and checklists) can of course be used without any purchase.
7. Online orders and fixed-price packages
- If you buy a service package and pay in full at checkout, the project-work rules in section 4 apply from the time of your order: cancel within 48 hours and before work starts for a full refund; after that, an amount equal to a 50% deposit is non-refundable and completed work is charged as described in section 4, with any balance refunded.
- Orders that are still unpaid, on hold or awaiting a bank transfer can be cancelled at any time at no cost.
- If we have bought physical equipment for you, the manufacturer’s or retailer’s own returns policy applies and we will help you with any return.
8. Third-party costs
Domain registrations, hosting, premium themes and plugins, software subscriptions, stock images, payment-gateway set-up fees, advertising spend and similar costs are paid to third parties and are non-refundable once purchased, unless the third party refunds us. Where possible we register these in your name or transfer them to you. Card and bank processing fees on your original payment may not be returned by the processor.
9. When we may cancel
- Non-payment: if an invoice is more than 14 days overdue after we have reminded you in writing, we may pause work and, after a further 7 days’ notice, cancel the agreement. Amounts for work completed remain payable.
- Breach or misuse: we may cancel immediately if you seriously breach our Terms of Service, use our work for anything unlawful, or behave abusively towards our team.
- For any other reason: we may end an ongoing service with 30 days’ written notice. If we cancel for a reason that is not your fault, we refund everything you have paid for work or service periods not delivered, and hand over completed work.
10. Refunds after cancelling
- Where a refund is due, we send it within 10 business days of confirming your cancellation, to the original payment method: card refunds through the original processor, bank-transfer refunds to the account the payment came from.
- Refunds are made in the currency you paid. We are not responsible for exchange-rate differences or charges made by your bank. Your bank may take a further 5–10 business days to show the refund.
- Every refund appears in your client portal under Payments with a reference number.
- Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Chargebacks are handled as described in our Refund & Returns Policy.
11. Your legal rights
Our services are sold mainly to businesses. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under Cayman Islands law that cannot be excluded by agreement. If you are unhappy with how we handled a cancellation, reply to our decision email and a director will review it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in force when you placed your order, approved your estimate or signed your agreement applies to that purchase; for ongoing services, changes apply from your next billing period after we tell you about them. We keep a record of the version you accepted.
13. Request a cancellation
Use this form to cancel an order, project, service or recurring payment. We confirm receipt by email straight away and send our written confirmation within 2 business days. You can also email support@caymanecommerce.com or call +1 (345) 546-9678. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the details you send.
